the hotel is on the outskirt of the main city, about 15 mins walk to the underground and then a short ride to the the main part of rome, it was only a short ride and paid 1.5 euros there and on way back, works the same way as london, swipe card for each way of destination easy peesy. the hotel is very basic, double room and bathroom which contains a shower and hairdryer, there is a tv which shows only italian channels but tbf was not in the room long enough to watch it. there is also a mini fridge in the room for you to fill up as desired .the bedroom was very dated and looked like it could of done with a good clean there is an option to have breakfast for 5 euros per person, again very basic, croissants, jam, butter, cereal, yogurts, tea and coffee. i personally wouldn't go here again as it was quite loud outside in the local bars and the first night we had to move rooms because of the noise from the young locals but the hotel staff were very helpful and moved us the following day to a room at the back of the hotel , all the staff were very helpful and polite. i would however pay the extra for perhaps a 4 star next time.

Bad: - Rooms are VERY small. Could barely move around. - Walls are paper thin. If the receptionist coughed, we heard it. The whole floor is very small and the rooms are right next to reception/coffee area. So at 7 am, you can hear the coffee machine being cleaned. - Beds are hard as rocks, really uncomfortable. Good: - Receptionist there all night, we checked in late. - A few restaurants nearby to eat something - Building has secure entrance with buzzer so feels safe - Didn't see any bugs

The 24 hours reception is very kind en helpful. The rooms are clean and the balcony is very cute! The building looks a bit old but it totally fits in Rome. We stayed for 12 nights. There is an elevator available, but not for the first steps. It is a bit far (30 min walk) from the train station, but you can also take the bus or the electric scooters.

Stayed for 3 days with a friend, very basic tiny room. A/C didn’t work. Bed comfortable and most of the staff is friendly. The shower was awful was only boiling hot or freezing cold. We did see insects in the shower the place was clean but we were definitely aware after seeing the insects. Walls was very thin, can hear everything and we were behind reception so we could hear the phone ringing all night. Breakfast wasn’t a lot to it but alright considering it’s come free food with it. If your from the UK you will need an Italian 3 pin plug not and EU plug we asked for an adapter which we got and then a rude member of staff asking for a tip for this which made us uncomfortable as we didn’t know about this with Italian plugs and we had both been to Italy before and not needed the Italian 3 pin plugs. Wouldn’t come back pay more money for a better and cleaner hotel.

The room is basic but covers everything you need. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and quilts stored in the wardrobe. The room also had a mini fridge which we found very useful as we had visited the Lidl which was a 5 minute walk away to get some bottles of water as well as toiletries due to travelling with hand luggage only. The staff were very friendly and our room was cleaned each day, as well as fresh towels being provided. The bedding however was not changed but only remade. The room had air con however due to staying in February we opted to keep it off. Due to hard floors you can hear other guests walking past your room and above you. This wasn’t a huge problem as we often got in late ourselves but more so on the mornings others could be heard. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the metro which we made fantastic use of getting the €24 week pass for our 5 day trip. It took us to central sight seeing locations such as the Vatican, the colosseum, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. This ran until 11:30pm at night. To get in to the hotel you have to buzz at the bottom however we never had to wait longer than a minute to be let in.
